Why we built it
AI assistants have become genuinely useful — but they're flying blind about the one thing that touches every decision you make: your money. Copy-pasting balances into a chat window is tedious, error-prone, and stale the moment you hit send.
WealthAgent fixes that. We aggregate every bank, brokerage, credit card, and loan through Plaid and expose it over the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — the open standard that lets AI agents call real tools. Point Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any MCP client at one secure endpoint and ask about your net worth, holdings, spending, or capital gains. It reads live data, on demand, and it's read-only by default.
